Recently on NerdGifts.net I created a Giveaway for (1) copy of the highly anticipated game Mass Effect Andromeda. To be eligible for the giveaway, a user has to follow @Nerd_Gifts on Twitter, retweet the giveaway post with a specific #, and like the giveaway post on the NerdGifts.net Facebook page. That's it. No sign-ups, enter e-mail address, or anything.
I started the giveaway a few days ago and my Twitter followers have been steadily increasing. Facebook engagements increase by nearly 600%. Overall traffic to my site increased by roughly 200%. The giveaway ends Monday (03/20) @ 23:59 EST. After that point, I will use a free program that randomly selects a winner. Once the lucky winner is chosen, I will contact them and see which platform they would like the game (Xbox, Playstation, or PC) then send them their prize.
Ultimately I will be paying $60 + Shipping for this giveaway. However the traffic that has been drawn to my site and increase in Twitter followers because of the giveaway will be worth it.
