I'm here because of Jay!
Well at least that's what I think. When I renewed my annual membership recently, his WAbinars were a major reason for me to stay. Although I've been paying membership, I haven't used WA as much as I would like to.
I'm currently exploring a relatively newer interest--sewing, in particular altering clothes and other fabric items. I have a long list of projects I'd like to do for my family and I'm not about to abandon this new...hobby. I'm reluctant to call it a hobby because there is always limited time thanks to my kids. Sometimes I feel like I'm trying to hit deadlines that I set for myself.
I can't sew all the time. Meanwhile, I'm finding myself scrolling Facebook whenever I'm free, which has grown sort of meaningless other than keeping up with the noise outside. My site is KIV for now.
I finally got down to watching another of Jay's WAbinars today and I must say he is always improving on the delivery of the content. With him appearing together with the slides at the corner of the screen, you feel like he's right there with you one on one.
He has also given me a much needed refresher on how to SEO my posts. I used to follow him quite closely and the SEO requirements were starting to sound like a drill, but today I feel confident since I've heard it so many times before.
To help myself come here more often, I've created a shortcut to WA on my phone's home screen. It's almost like having a WA app!
