Finished Level 2 And On To Something New!
It's 3 minutes to 2am, I'm on the verge of completing Level 2, just got to publish a WA Blog to document my progress so far...here goes.
I Tamed The Beast (aka WordPress)
WordPress has been my biggest challenge so far because it felt like I was wrestling with a software beast. I had assistance from the WA help center, WA tribe (special cheers to Smartketeer), YouTube and now WordPress feels like I'm playing with a fluffy kitten, even though I know there's more to learn here.
I Don't Know What I Don't Know
I'd been writing my content and sussed out how to add a featured page and get rid of that Howdy Doody Thingy in the top right of my site. But then I watched Jay's video about creating awesome content that ranks. Woah! Funny and fantastic. But where's that SEO and Social tab? That baffled me for a bit until I was pointed towards watching a video on YOAST. Which then bought more questions and lots of staring at the screen.
But now I can create content with the bells and whistles that help it rank...fingers crossed.
The Only Way Is Up For You And Me Now
I have learnt A LOT and written A LOT. I've had great feedback for my movie website. Connecting with the WA community, giving feedback, support and motivational comments has been a blast. I'm still at the beginning phase and enjoying the whole experience tremendously.
Here's to moving forward IN JOY towards OUR successful online businesses EVERY DAY.
BIG THANK YOU TO YOU ALL AND I APPRECIATE THE ASSISTANCE AND KIND WORDS.
I will leave you with a profound quote from Lao Tzu that I read a few years back:People usually fail when they are on the verge of success.
So give as much care to the end as to the beginning;
Then there will be no failure.

Congratulations Louise. I am on the verge of licking the beast as well. WordPress is different from so many other programs I know. In the end it is really neat what can be done with it.
With gratitude

Cheers Jeannette and I agree.
Have a great weekend.
