BLOG #3: The Mural
The Mural
I was doing the training, writing content and trying to understand WordPress and I started to feel discombobulated. I went for a walk. It wasn't until I looked up at the mural you see in the picture I posted that I realised I'd been walking fast and not enjoying the walk at all. So, I stopped and admired the wall art. As I continued staring, it seemed to symbolically speak to me:
The young face symbolised my rookie-ness (did I just make a word up?) here on WA.
The hare and the greyhound, me working towards creating a successful online business.
Widgets, plug-ins and Googlebots were the big-eyed smiling creatures.
And the lovers, well, I really like all this stuff I'm learning and the WA community.
The point is, I stopped and was really in the moment. And it helped me to feel relaxed and calm. I was clear-headed. Phew.
I thought to myself....smell the coffee, smell the roses, whatever it takes I will remember to appreciate the moment and be fully aware of what is really happening.
Today, remember to take a break when you need to and be present, look around. Tell me, what do YOU see?

Taking the time to appreciate art can be cathartic and open the mind to new ideas. Perhaps the intent of this artist was to inspire the viewer to solve problems.

Wow--awesome that you interpreted this and then turned it into a blog post, Louise! You're one heck of a writer, my friend!
