BLOG #2: It May Be Winter Outside

But In My Heart It's Spring

My 10th day in since joining WA, completing Level 1 training and going Premium. The chorus to an old soul song came to mind when I thought about writing my 2nd WA Blog. I've made a minor tweak at the end but it goes like this:

It may be winter outside. But in my heart it's spring

How much joy and pleasure, baby. Can one website bring?

I did want to write this 2nd blog yesterday but honestly, I just dived in to the training again. I've learned SO much. And not just about the technical stuff but about me too.

I bought my real estate on the internet, learned more about keywords and that CONTENT IS KING. I grasped the concept of how SEO works. Looking for images and including them in my content was fun. I've begun writing content and I've posted 2 so far on my website. I really, realy enjoy writing the content. Truly. I was in the zone. By the end of the day I looked up from my laptop and realised it was quarter to 4 in the morning.

I was a little tired but mainly I was excited. I felt like Wonder Woman! I can do this, I thought, just keep moving forward. Learn. Write. Ask for help. Action every day.

Not Just The Technical Stuff

I did stumble a little when asked to leave feedback on the Feedback Site. I reached out. My coach was there and offered advice about re-framing how I thought about this task. (Cheers Nathaniell). I stopped thinking that I was judging or critising others and instead realised that I was judging how I felt navigating their website and then giving feedback of my experience. To assist them.

Doing all this stuff is so much more enjoyable when you know you have a sea of people who have gone through this journey and have come out the other side successfully. But even more so, just knowing that they are there and they sincerely want to lend a hand is very uplifting and inspiring. I appreciate it all, thank you everybody.
