My Network Marketing Journey Of Discovery

I have NEVER written a blog in my life, so here goes my first attempt!

But what do I write about? I suppose I could start with my online journey thus far, and how I got here to WA.

August 2016, I was looking for ways of earning some additional income, and discovered “Network Marketing” through an online friend. He introduced me to his “system” and I signed up …. and this friends is where it all goes horribly wrong!

Over the course of the next two months, I LOST a lot of money, something in the region of around £2,000 - £3,000.

You see, I became involved in multiple MLM / Pyramid / Ponzi schemes, or whatever you want to call them. Not one of them was going to make me any money – not consistently, and certainly not long term. With no knowledge of how any of this really works, I had fallen instantly into the dark side of Network Marketing.

You have the “Leaders” – these are the people at the top of whatever system making claims of making thousands a week/month – and indeed they do ….. because of naïve people like me, the “Followers”.

When their income begins to slow, they shout from the rooftops about the next great scheme, and they’ve only been in a month and made a fortune already! So, their herd of followers sign up – Can you see where this is going and how it works now? Every few weeks/months ALL these people are trying to push a different system.

Of course, I thought I’d talk with one of the leaders to question why I was struggling. Obviously I was fed the usual story of it takes time, keep working, it will happen – of course it never really will, because most of the people who are interested have already signed up to the leader!

October 2016, I decided to put a stop to this. I dropped everything, and concentrated on one system that appeared genuine and worth working with. I tried (very hard) to make it work – again, I became desperate, I lost money. Time to finish with all this.

One afternoon as I was closing, removing anything I had become involved with and trying one final attempt at promoting my scheme, someone asked me to watch a video presentation.

It was an hour long (damn!) but, it grabbed my attention, and I watched it to the end.

Given what I had just been through in the last two months, I was sceptical …. but, for the first time, here was a genuine company – they even had a physical PRODUCT. I pondered, I thought. I had a Skype call with the individual who introduced me to the presentation.

I cautiously registered … it was free? What’s the catch? There was no catch, there was no obligation, and if I didn’t want to part with any cash, then I didn’t have to. I will not call one of the main people a “Leader” – he is not like that. He has over 11,000 people in his team – he CALLED me!

A MAN WITH 11,000 PEOPLE IN HIS TEAM CALLED ME – THE NEW GUY IN HIS TEAM!

He asked about me, he asked what I hoped to do, he explained how it all worked. I have since also met him several times, and spoken to him regularly.

I had found my niche!

Fast forward to just a week ago, I am doing very well, I am earning a residual income through an e-commerce company that operates in 120 countries around the globe, and is 100% legitimate. I have full support from a back office team if I require it, I am passionate about what I do. I am a Network Marketing Professional.

But I haven’t explained why I recently joined WA!?

I was speaking with a fellow member of our company, and he said WA had proved very fruitful for him getting new people on-board with our niche – so here I am!
