Why do so few thrive while many others fail

Over the last few months I have been contemplating all the failure I have been having with my internet marketing endeavors. I then started thinking about why so many people fail at online marketing. A 97% failure among people who try to start an online business cannot be just chalked up too laziness , or to just people just not having the drive to stick with it over time( I myself have been trying for years)

I started to come to cognizance that Internet marketing may be a bit more like an art form. For example,
lets say you know a chef, and this chef makes the best tasting cake in the world. So you have this chef write down the recipe for this cake. Then you go about making this cake with the ingredients the chef gave you. But when you taste your cake it is not as good as the cake the chef made. You used the same ingredients but did not get the same results.

I believe it lies in the nuances. I think there is a certain amount of talent that top online marketers do not even realize they have, just like the chef. Little subtle things that some one like a Kyle or Carson do without even knowing they are doing it.

I do believe this may be why many people fail when a small few will succeed. I do believe that online marketing is a bit of an art form
