Good Morning, my name is Lilly,
I am coming to you from Beautiful Northwest British Columbia. This is my first ever Blog Post! Though nervous, I must say I feel....surreal! Had the best 4 hours sleep of my life, I credit that to the warm welcome I received yesterday from my new family here at WA. I have chosen the Survival Niche as my Main Website Platform! My goal here is to blog about daily life and progress as I challenge myself to utilize the internet to make a living from No Man's Land. God's Country really! I will post daily about my life living off the Grid and my Natural Land Based Lifestyle. I am 5 hours from the nearest city, and a 3 hour active logging road drive from the nearest banking center. There is no cell service here, I communicate and stay connected through my own Satellite System. I run a Generator for Electricity and use wood for heat, Propane for cooking. Nearest neighbors are 50 miles away...4x4 country and sometimes I have to rely on a Quad, Snowmobiles, boats or my feet for transportation. My only companions are the Internet and my Pure Bred Maremma . She is adorable (I'm the only one that thinks so, lol...she's mean but is my shotgun, she hates men and my late Mom would have loved her ;) There is only 6 homes in my families gated community which is located at the end of a beautiful large lake. I have the best view ever, I'll share photos and write about what it takes to survive this lifestyle as a woman (a tiny one at that). I'm very independent, and dreamed for years of being right where I am today. I hated city life but spent 30 years in the rat race to educate myself and my 3 children. Youngest Graduated 2 years ago and I fled the nest literally day after her Grad..lol Some of the things I do daily include, Shoveling mountains of snow, sometimes just to get out the door, lol, Chop firewood, hunt, fish, home maintenance, repairs, omg. list of things I could write about is endless. I've a very interesting and fulfilling life that's had several twists and turns. Not sure where I should begin or how to do this but I will do my best to portray my life and progress as genuinely and honestly as possible. I'm a high energy person so there will be days where I might disappear and that is usually when I frustrate myself and shut down to avoid letting my friends and family know I'm hurting.(a trait I'm trying to lose) I've lived through so much grief and loss...sometimes it knocks me down for a day or so I was very close to my large family who have all gone to rest. I've one sibling left of a family of 9 so it's natural to have hard days. If there is something about my way of living that you want to hear and learn about..please drop me a line. I'm looking for help and ideas on how I can approach blogging about my Survival and connecting my Life in the Woods to the incredible opportunities I can have through Cyber Space. Today for my 2 hour lunch break, I'm going ice fishing for bait so I can set night lines for Fresh Water Cod. (Burbot or Ling Cod) Thank you for reading, helping me grow and following me.

Survival is a good strong thing to have. I have an interest in owning a dooms day bunker some day in protection for myself and my family.

I'm very uncomfortable with the idea of blogging, it's a deep fear but something I know I must do. I'm literally shaking and feel like I just jumped out of a plane.
I hope so.. I've been taking few minutes daily to review member blogs from New Members to Top 200 just to get a feel for it and watched some tutorials on my Mentor's Website Blogs..his interview with.Ricky Shetty on Creating a Viral Blog broke down my walls, I've grasped the concept and purpose, now I'm setting myself up by creating a list of topics to blog about with each of my chosen Niche's and Websites. I'm not rushing it though. Beauty is I can bring real content to my Blogs!

Okay thank you for that, Elijah1916...I will. That was my intro and first address. I did myself a blog task just for that reason and am in the blogging training today so I know what I need to do. Might have trips and falls along the way as I learn about blogging...it's actually one of my biggest fears in this processs

Awwe Thank you Bob. It's not always easy, cheap or beautiful..like every other lifestyle, there are pro's and con's. When I feel like giving up, all I have to do is watch the New's and World Happenings. Brings me back to appreciating being in My Element.
