Knowledge plays a major role in defining the word success. Success can be gain through knowledge. People attend colleges and universities because they want to get higher education and it is in their mindset that higher education can give them more opportunities to obtain a better paying job. When a person is knowledge he or she does not have to worry so much about making money. A person does not have to be extremely rich to be successful, with good education an individual can become whatever they wish to be, and they are successful when they love their job and love what they are doing.

As part of being successful, values are very important. Values are important because they are people's belief and how people wish to live their lives. Family plays a big role in shaping a person thoughts and ideas as a child. Family can give a person the love and support needed to strive for the best in life and also family helps mold an individual thoughts and ideas to strive for what he or she wants to become in life. Having values is significant because when a person achieves what he or she values in life, he or she feels successful. For example, when a person values helping others, he or she can choose to be a preacher, doctor, and even counselor.

Furthermore,this brings up the love and happiness as a part of being successful. There are things in life that are priceless and money can't truly buy love and happiness. Without love, a person can be very lonely in life and even though he or she makes lots of money, many people with a lot of money may seek for true love, but may not find it. An anonymous person once said, "It is not where you go in life, it's who you have beside you." A person can have so many things in life such as fancy cars and big bank accounts, a person can still feel incomplete and not successful because he or she is missing love and happiness. For example, Danny Lie he a famous stars on national television have all the money in the world , but he still not happy.
