Melaleuca anyone?
Greetings WAers.
Has anyone ever heard of Melaleuca? I recently spoke with a member of the Melaleuca health product business and learned that you can make a residual income from it. The program is based on recruiting new members and receiving a certain percentage of the purchases they make.
I've heard of Amway as well and I think it operates on the same principal.
Has anyone tried these programs before? They seem to be legit but am curious if any WAers have a history with these programs.

I have tried Melaleuca before, its a pyramid scheme.
The products are pretty good, I really like the renew lotion and the tea tree oil. The problem I found was that I had to have a standing order for so much $ every month, they set this up when you join. The shipping was outrageous, I believe I was paying a little over $20 just to ship my mandatory monthly products.
After dong some research I found that I could buy the tea tree oil at my local beauty supply store for a lot less then Melaleuca sells it. I also found that the hemp lotion works the same as the renew lotion and it's also a lot cheaper.
Now I do know a couple of people who have been very successful with Melaleuca.
I think it just depends on the person and the passion you have for the products. It wasn't for me but that doesn't mean its not for someone else.
