6 Days Old - Money Making Website

YES! a website that launched 6 days ago ( as of the date of this post) is already a money making website.

Affiliate marketing is one way to make money with websites. Affiliate marketing is essentially selling products and services created by others that generate a commission when they sell through your efforts. It is usually done with tracking codes, but sometimes it can be done in a different way.

Last weekend, a friend of mine wanted to launch a website to sell something he had created. He thinks its a big idea. I registered the domain for him and launched a wordpress website here at wealthy affiliate. This was done Sunday morning, while I was sitting on my couch drinking coffee. The woocommerce plugin was activated and a picture of what he wanted to sell was added with a short description.

It took a few days...

As of this morning, he has had 10 sales. This is not a perfect example of affiliate marketing, but a great way to start a money making website. Tools here at wealthy affiliate made these sales possible. If his idea takes off and his sales grow, I will come back to this post and remember how we got started.

I could have charged him for this very simple website. I decided to partner with him on a share of the profits from the sales. So far, I am very happy with the decision I made on this venture.

By the Way, this website was indexed on Google in less than 3 days. I love the tools at WA! It is important to get the domain indexed because some people only know google search. When a domain is entered in the search bar, it hurts your credibility if the site doesn't appear at the top of the search results. It is most likely a lost sale.
