I'm Stuck
HI everyone, I just found out something that I feel bring hardships onto me.
So I found out my domain name has already been taken by some company with a super similar name.
My domain name is "TheAudioHolic" and I found a company where their early posts date back to 2009 called "Audioholics"
I wanted to know will this cause any problems for me? Should I scrap this domain and start over?

I would say if you have not made it a .com I would get a new available name . they do offer .net and others but not as good as .com It is really hard to compete with a big name. hope this helps
That's the problem. I only found out about this website after I bought my domain and yes it's a .com.
Hello Zahub, it's always good when you think of a domain name to make sure that it is available and then purchase that particular domain, they can soon disappear!
Is there something else you can use similar, like, "topaudioholics"? Incidentally, I would never purchase a domain with dashes in, as people always find it difficult to remember where the dashes are etc.
I hope this helps.
Roy
Hi Roy, at the time of purchase the website said that it was available. I guess it was my fault for not double checking to see if there was already a website out there with the same name.
Would it be possible for me to change my website name since I purchased the domain?

This is a highly technical issue and you need to resolve it rather than get entangled in a legal web
That's where I'm stuck. I'm not sure whether to close down my site or get a new domain or what.
If I were you I will close it down free myself from all unnecessary hassles and worries, then start anew.
That's a good idea and I'm thinking about doing so. Thank you
Thanks always ready to help
