Need WAmily's Help!
(Cover Image: Blue question mark on a pinkish background)
Hey everyone,
I hope y'all are having a good day, that is, if it's day where you're at...Haha
Anyway, I need to ask y'all a question and get your opinion and advice!
It's actually a two part question.
1. If I email someone who left a really good comment on my website and ask them if I can use it as a testimonial on my site, and include the actual comment in the email, and they say yes, is that enough to CYA (Cover Your A**) or do I need to go further?
2. If I use a comment as a testimonial, would google and the like consider that duplicate content; since it would be on my homepage and maybe even on my blog & blog posts page too, as well as under my post as the original comment?
Thanks!

Hi ZachK, I think if your covered fine if you have permission and your representing this clearly as a testimonial from that person.
Testimonies are great, and should be posted on your website. From what you tell me, if you have acquired their permission you are good to go. Perhaps just check with a google search tool about prsenting testimonies on your website, I'm not sure what you will find but you may get the answers your looking for
Hey Dale,
Thanks for taking the time to give me your input!
I appreciate it very much :)
I kinda thought if I get their permission and then save it, I will be alright, but I was just trying to find out absolutely.
It's really the second part, that I'm the least sure about.
Hopefully, someone who knows more than I do about this will chime in and shed a little light on the subject.
Have a great rest of your week :)
