Your sites will be kept for 30 days to give you time to move them so if you have bought them yourself then I would move them to somewhere that gives you free hosting if you cant spend much time working on them.
I wrote a post about free hosting a few days ago and the best one I found was called 000webhost.com or there is X10hosting.com and Awardspace.com

This is how you can cancel your account if you didn't know already :) Cancel Wealthy Affiliate Membership and Stop Billing Matthew
If you were to cancel your billing then it would be the same as closing your account as you can't go back to being a free member unless you open a new account
I am actually unsure what would happen to your own domain if you didn't move it within the 30 days sorry. You could ask on live chat I'm sure someone will know on there
It's fine to have domain names registered through Wealthy Affiliate even if you're not a premium member. The actual websites themselves have to be backed up and moved within 30 days of the membership expiring.
I knew about the 30 days but I wasn't sure what happened to the website if you didn't move it within that time
