Unexpected dream revival. Thanks to WA!
Five years ago, when people asked me what my aspirations are for my sauce company; I responded: "that at least one jar of the sauce will be in most American household's pantries". It was a simple sentence but a lofty goal and maybe even an impossible dream. So, I sold our sauce at the farmer market, even created an MLM company to distribute the sauces (by the way, that MLM company caused a loss close to $200K - but we did sell $500K worth of sauce in one year!). So, when I got rid of the MLM company, the sauce just exist out there without any more determination from me to do anything about them - except to sell them via our own website and to our customers from the restaurants. I have tried several times to work with distributors to take the sauce to the stores but I never went through with it as the capital outlay is outrageous and no guarantee for success. Fast forward to October 18th, 2015. When I joined WA, it was with the thought that I wanted to find out what this affiliate marketing is since I looked into it 7 or 8 years ago. Then one member asked me about the sauce company and suggested that I build a website to sell the sauce! It took me a couple of days to think it over and as of today, my Shopify shop is up and running and my blog that I created from WA training is pointing to it! My plan is that I will blog on my WA site to drive traffic to the sauce store (now that the store is up and operational). Finally, everything is as clear as crystal and it would not have been so if I did not join WA and am blessed with the support of WA members.
So, my dream of having a jar of my sauce in every household is now awoken and I am now armed with knowledge and tools to go and get this business really off the ground.
Thank you everyone and thank you for reading!
