Where has time gone?
I was sitting here thinking (which can be dangerous) as I am drinking my coffee .... where in the world has time gone! When I was younger, I could tackle anything with no trouble at all. I was a perfectionist, wanted everything right the first go round and did not like redos. I have tried several online things but was always disappointed.
Now I have joined WA and am very thrilled I have done so. I have struggled getting this going and get angry with myself that I am not that "younger me" that could just take off running. I make mistakes but keep fixing them 'til I get it the way I want it. The saying that you can build a website in just a short amount of time.......not me! I believe it has taken me maybe 3 days and still not completely satisfied but almost there. I refuse to give up as this program is the best thing I have found online in my "young" life!!!!
Just thinking........

You are in a good place now Louise. There is so much to learn and no time restrictions on how long you take.

Hi Louise,
Yes, thinking can be dangerous ... But not thinking is always dangerous :)
Now about the saying ...The saying that you can build a website in just a short amount of time ... Believe me, it's not about you!
The whole "build a site in 60 minutes" myth is nothing else but a lie ... A sales pitch ...
Building and running a site takes a lot of work! I'll give you only one example: I've spent 16 months with research, content creation, design considerations, etc, before I even bought the hosting plan for my blog ...

I am 3 months in and I'm still not completely satisfied with my website. I just want to learn and work on it as I go, and as I can understand more, it will get better. Follow the training, its a huge help!
