Do not underestimate offline sources
As I have had problems with my internet connection lately, it could have given me "a few days off", but instead I found myself constantly thinking about what to do in my next post, what to review and what next to write about.
In the beginning I was very frustrated because my mind was so fixed on online searches. I completely forgot; some years ago we had all the information we needed available offline!
This lead me to take a look around in my house, and I ended up with quite a few ideas within my niche. I have been taping some informational tv-programs about my niche a while ago, so I have spent three hours watching those. It gave me some great ideas to build further upon.
I also went through the books I have. I'll admit I do not have that many books, but I was surprised how many ideas i was able to discover. Things I never even would have thought about doing an online search for! All this research will definitely keep me busy the next couple of weeks, and now I am actually finding myself being thankful for my internet trouble so I was able to find other sources of information I would never have thought about in the first place.
My point with sharing this is, Internet might not be your only choice and source of information, even though it is the most convenient. You are still able to use your books, tv-shows, newspapers, commercial, library and other great sources of information. The only difference is you might have to move from your "comfy-spot" and actually think just a tiny bit different. I encourage you to be creative in your research, and who knows? It might actually be this kind of research who gives you the ranking you are waiting for, and everything that follows with a good ranking :)
Have a great research, and a wonderful week!

I agree with you Mona in that there are a lot of creative sources for ideas! Good post! :)
Hi Mona, sometimes going off line is a blessing! I have collected quite a few books on internet marketing and often read them over for inspiration. I believe that content is all around us if we just open our eyes and look! Good job on finding other sources!
Hi Dwanna.
Thank you! And thank you for leaving a comment. Yes I totally agree. I have never been much of a big reader, until I joined here. I do get my books online though, but it was a blessing to learn you can find quite useful information almost every where, as long as you have an open mind :)
Mona you bring out a lot of good points. I work part time from home over the computer, plus working on my website and quite frankly sometimes I just get burn't out looking at my computer. some days I just want to see the "rest of the world." I want to just sit out in my yard and read or go get some coffee and talk to others. I used to be very active at my local library before "Ask Google" came along. Thank you for the friendly reminder.
You are welcome Leann, I think we all need reminders like this from time to time.
Best wishes with everything you do :)
