A New Dawn - Progress
Hello, friends
I have been meaning to pen down a blog post. The only reason I have not been able to is because I have been busy with the lessons and building the website. I think it has been about two weeks now or a little less than two weeks since I have joined Wealthy Affiliates.
For years, I have been planning to have an online business. I have grown tired of working for others. I rather work for myself. Don't get me wrong, I have worked with some good people in my life. Those who were good and they were there from the beginning as we learned a lot from each other. But, that doesn't mean I have not encountered a bad supervisor, manager and co-workers either. I think one of the biggest issues is that when it comes to working for others they get to dictate your life for you. I would get home from work some days, I would think to myself when is this going to stop. Did I like the jobs? Yes, to an extent. But I was growing tired of the corporate politics and lifestyle.
I came across WA when I was doing some research regarding how people are making money by creating online ADS. Immediately, I began my research about WA. And every article I came across or a comment on a blog had something nice to say about WA. So, I decided to join and give this thing a shot. And, here I am.
My long term goal is to grow the site bigger; earn money; learn enough, so I, too, can teach others how to build an online business via WA.
Ever since I have joined, I have accomplished the following:
- Finished two phases of training
- Became a Premium Member
- Launched a website
- Picked my Niche (something I have always want to do)
- Registered a Domain
- Learned the importance of Keywords.
- Published 3 pieces, so far (more coming soon)
- Indexed in Google Search Engine
Is this the beginning of a new dawn?
I hope it is. In a way, it feels like it is, actually. I hope that I am not being too cheesy here. It feels different. At first, I was going to use the term, awkward, but chose not to; This whole thing is not awkward. It's new. It's a difference experience. Am I nervous? Yes. As much as I don't want to be. Maybe it's a good thing.
Others who have joined WA before me, please share your story in a paragraph, too, if you can. Share your success story. I have come across some posts written by others that this business venture is working for them.
Thank you,
Yama

Great blog!
Sorry, I don't have a whole paragraph. I joined WA because I'm disabled and am tired of living on government assistance. I'd rather earn money than have taxpayers be obligated to support me. Anyway, this has proven to be quite an adventure. Almost 2 months and just starting my second website through the boot camp training.

You are doing great, Yama.
Just keep going and do the training.
All the best and have fun learning and exploring.
