I have sent msgs to others today alluding to this. In short, I'm a recently divorced(unfortunately) father of 2 boys at age 48 and struggling paycheck to paycheck to make ends
You're right, asking that question here is like going to an insurance convention and asking the attendee's if insurance is a good idea :)
Trying many different programs and methods with years of failure I have come to learn one thing about WA.
If you can follow instruction and you are willing to WORK (the key to the whole thing) the WA is the best road map you will find anywhere.
Thanks for responding. Yes, i know the answer already. It's just I that needed to hear from some other folk. I'm at that point of just saying "what the heck, I'm doing this !" and see where it all leads. I guess I'm just trying to validate my thoughts with all this, in that I need to do something and take the risk. I wont get anywhere doing nothing.
I had my reservations about the monthly fee when I got started too. I canceled my cell phone plan and bought a "pay as you go" phone and that gave me the money I needed.
Now I have a couple of nice sites and a self sustaining business so the fee's no longer matter. And, I don't miss my old cell phone at all!
I think if you are passionate about working online you'll make money from it. As far as WA is concerned you won't get a better price for what your getting. If you were to do this on your own you have to deal with hosting costs plus all the marketing and tech know how to be successful. Honestly that's really hard to do on your own. Also WA is a good support system which will keep you focused and positive. I know what it's like to struggle, I've been in a marriage for 20 years with a spouse who rarely works. We have 7 children and I just can't continue living like this!
Hi Bill. Upgrading to Premium is worth it because you are then given the remainder of the Certification Courses. Following that training will get your website off the ground and you will be so much farther ahead.
Not only the Certification Courses, but you have 24/7 help at your fingertips. If you have a question, it can be answered rather quickly. There are live videos, you can host up to 25 websites here (that is included in the premium membership) and live chat is very helpful. I could go on and on. :)
I'd at least take the first month at the reduced rate of $19, because you can probably get through the remainder of the training in that time, given some effort.
Wealthy Affiliate does work. You put the work into it and you will see the results. All the best to you! :)
Thanks for the good words! As with anything one must take the risk and do something to jump in and get ahead. I need to do something and this seems like this is it. It all makes sense with what you say.

FIrst I want to say Congratulations on going PREMIUM! This was a great decision you made for you and your family. This will def occupy your mind from all the cons of life. Great luck here at WA and when you get a moment read my blog Especially For the Newbies
