Recently, I found myself needing to get rid of my current WordPress website so I can turn my domain name into just a simple capture page. After several hours of trial and errors, I finally figured it out.
First, create a subdomain and move the existing contents of your website to that subdomain. Here is where I moved mine to http://blog.mypayingads.us. The alternative to a subdomain is get a brand new domain name.
Second, delete your domain/website.

Third, add your domain/website back by going to Site Manager and then selecting the Site Domains option at the top.
Fourth, just simply enter your domain name and create it again. And then the most important thing is don't go installing another WP.
Fifth, you can now use your favorite FTP program to upload only the contents that you want on you website. So if you go to http://mypayingads.us, you should see only a capture page.
