I assumed (a bad) that everyone who watches training videos marks the time when key points are made. I do mine in the margin beside the video location. This enables me to quickly find answers for my questions without searching or redoing the entire video. I have saved a lot of time because I too quickly forget what I have heard.

I usually take notes on the videos. I'll pause the video and make outlines or buzzwords that will remind me of the information when I need it.
