in adding Google XML Sitemaps in Level 5 training, I now receive a warning that this might interfere with All in One SEO and that it should be deactivated. Which is the correct way to proceed?

Good question and I am just following the thread. I have seen the same questions earlier and have tried to find out how to solve this.

Hi Charlotte
When you add All in one SEO go back to it in your dashboard and hover over it and you will see Feature Manager. Click on that and add xml sitemaps as well.
This way you do not need Google XML Sitemaps

1. Google analytics set up- add the code your general settings in All in one SEO
2. Go to Google webmasters and get the code there to add to another place called google webmasters in General Settings for your All in one SEO and then when added go back to verify your site
I hope this helps
Let me know
Vicki

All In One SEO now has sitemaps enabled by default. So you can ditch the Google XML Sitemaps as you won't want to have two plugins trying to do the same job and tripping over each other.
