Have a Happy and Safe Independence Day
It has been quite awhile since I last posted. I have come back to WA after a hiatus of a few months and it is great to be back. Even though I am living and working abroad in Hong Kong I still love to celebrate our American Independance Day. I read recently where patriotism is at an all time low in America and that is sad to hear. Of course, with all of the anger, bitterness and hatred that is thrown at us in the media every day it is no wonder that many Americans seem to have lost that spirit that binds us together as one great country. Well, perhaps in my own little way, far away from the shores of our great country, I can instill just a little bit of pride for our Red, White and Blue. For those members who are not Americans, please allow me some little indulgence on this special birthday of my country.
Happy Birthday America
Lest We Not Forget
On this special day when we celebrate the birthday of our great nation, many will spend time with family and friends outdoors with barbecues, Hot dogs, hamburgers and all the trimmings. Lest we not forget those brave men and women who served our country and gave us the freedoms that we sometimes take for granted. They came from all parts of America and from every nationality, creed, gender or color, proudly serving our country.
A day of Rembrance, Celebration and Family
To all my American friends and colleagues here at WA, have a safe and a very Happy 4th of July!
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day and a productive and prosperous week!
Happy USA day!!!
Congrats to you ALL!
I couldn't have said it any better! Thanks for stopping by.
