Face-Palm Moment - When Your Banner Ads Doesn't Display On Your Website
Oh my word, I have been wanting to add those amazon native shopping ads grid thingies to my posts and couldn't understand why it didn't want to display on my website. I made sure to paste the code into the 'text' bar, I made sure to update and I made sure to refresh, but still - nothing. I eventually thought perhaps it was a restriction of my theme and left it for later investigation, which happened to be today... It was while searching through other's queries, here at wealthy affiliate, on similar issues that the answer slapped me in the face like a wet fish.
A user by the name of silah77 posted a question and during her troubleshooting with another member mentioned that she also checked to see if her ad blocker was on. DUH! I completely FORGOT about my ad blocker...Disabled it, and now everything is displaying beautifully x)
I am almost too embarrassed to share this oversight with you all, but ja, if there are others like me out there, don't be a nilly - remember about the OBVIOUS stuff first before over complicating everything yourself.
