Thanks for Everything Steve Jobs
So I'm sure some of you have heard the news that the Apple man himself has stepped down as the CEO for one of the most powerful technology companies in the world.
For the Apple lovers out there perhaps today is a sad day for you.
I can honestly say what Steve Jobs has done for the online world has been nothing short of incredible.
A true visionary. A man of amazing and consistent innovative ideas.
Here is letter from Steve Jobs himself for those who might be interested:
To the Apple Board of Directors and the Apple Community:
I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.
I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee.
As far as my successor goes, I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.
I believe Apple's brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.
I have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple, and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you.
Steve
Thanks for all the memories Steve, you'll be missed.
Ride the wave :)

I am one of those Apple lovers. I used Windows based PC's for years, but switched to Apple about three years ago. All I keep says to myself since, "why didn't I switch sooner?"
I thought it was a rare form of pancreatic cancer in the past. I don't know for sure what it is now.
@jatdebeaune - Due to an "undisclosed illness". Though he has been battling with cancer for a while, so it more than likely is related to that.
I'm a iphone user and love it! Plus I sell on iTunes and without iTunes, I would have a harder time selling my music. So I owe a lot to Steve Jobs and Apple. Aside from that, I think they have revolutionized the way we communicate and because of it, the world has become much smaller.
