Wealthy Affiliate - A Very Special Day

Yesterday was my 70th birthday. I was expecting to go to lunch with my daughter and sisters, but arrived at a park for a BBQ to see my entire family, kids, sisters and brothers, grandkids, cousins, old friends from grammar and high school, kids I babysat for, cousins and friends I had not seen in ages. I was so surprised and humbled and excited. A friend of mine came all the way across the country to be there. I got video greetings from Amsterdam, France and Philadelphia.

They made a video presentation of my life in pictures that was moving and sentimental. They spoiled me rotten with a new laptop computer and other wonderful gifts. But the best gift of all was the love and devotion that families and friends share throughout their lives that binds us all together.

I was totally overwhelmed and am still reeling from the joy of the day.

So if you are having a less than stellar day, take a moment and remember all the people in your life that love you and you love and be grateful for the ties we have with each other. I extend that to my friends and family here at Wealthy Affiliate and wish you all the joy and happiness and love I experienced yesterday. You have stood by me and supported me in some dark times and I truly appreciate it.
