Procrastination

About two weeks ago I lost someone dear to me, she was my friends mom but she loved and treated me like her daughter and loved me coming to spend time with her. For months I had promised to go and visit her but never got round to doing it. It was always a case of I'll do it today and I'll do it tomorrow, but that visit never happened. I took it granted that she will always be there and that one day I will make good my promise of going to spend time with her but death came calling before me.

In the last two weeks since the news of her passing, all I have said to myself is "I should have." I feel sad and guilty that I never made those visits but the sad truth is the same way I procrastinated about the visits is the same way I have procrastinated about a lot things in my life, from dreams that never materialised to opportunities missed, my clssses where at WA that I am yet o complete and so many other things that I have not got round to doing all because I amprocrastinating.

If there is one thing I have promised myself and her is that I am going to stop procrastinating and do things when they need doing and the same should go for all of us. Procrastination is not just the number one killer of dreams but killer of everything.

I can understand you. The thing is to learn from this and move on. Might be an idea to remember this each time you find yourself procrastinating. All the best

It's is a very sad time when we lose someone close to us and we have regrets sometimes, but, we need to keep growing in hope that we can improve on ourselves in some way, no matter how small, that may leave us with a positive thought to remember our losses in a loving and caring way to remind us of who we sadly miss and what they meant to us and how much we miss them.
Sorry for your loss, Tosh :)
