Hello all, I am not sure how many of you use Github already; for me Github came to my life only recently.
I was reluctant at first but now I see the added value and quality this tool will bring to my online business.
If you are already into Wordpress and you mess around with your design, some CSS edits here and there, some additional functionality in your functions.php, etc., then Github is surely a tool you need to use.
Github is a social coding and revision control platform. It offers a wide range of services to satisfy the most demanding programmer, but for us, novice users it can do the following:

- It offers a central repository for all our coding snippets. So you can use it as your personal snippets database;
- It makes those snippets available for other users to use or modify in new versions;
- Keeps track of all your modifications in new releases;
- Provides a unique URL so that you can put on display (in a really nice way) your snippet on your own post or page like this one.
Is anybody else using Github or any other version control platform?
