Challenges: Fearful And Liberating!
Just completed Course 2 Lesson 3 where you post your website on WA for feedback AND give feedback to someone else's site. The thought of both these challenges filled me with dread!
How could I comment on something I know nothing about? And why would I want anyone to look at what I think nothing very much of right now? But I did as I was told and ...it's done. I haven't heard anything about my site yet but I commented on two sites and it was very liberating! So when our learned tutors, Kyle and Carson challenge you to go where you've never been before - just do it! It honestly isn't as bad as you think it's going to be!
WARNING! :D
Heehee, one of the sites I commented on was a fellow Brit. When he responded to my suggestions I honestly could tell just from his speech (or should I say his text? :) that he was a fellow Englishman. I confirmed my feelings by checking out his profile.
Here's the warning. Who you really are will always come out. You can't hide yourself. And surely we want our online audience to trust us and build honest relationships with us - so always be true to yourself! (As was my new friend from Yorkshire!)

Dawn, the first time I had to show my site there was true dread. The second time I was kind of proud of what I had done. But, half the people thought I should tear it down and start all over. The other half thought my kid was ugly... I fear nothing any longer. ;^)
The scary part is taking that first step. Now you have more confidence for the next time. I think Kyle helps us to consistently expand our boundries. ~Debbi

I love your header, its coming along...just keep building on your content. You are well on your way. Looks very peaceful.
You DO know something about it, Dawn. You just did it yourself, m'dear. Plus, you know if you like the look of something, the wording, etc. Did you learn anything from it? There's a lot you can say without being a supposed expert. Just get in there and read a bit and comment! People DO want to know what you think.
I did learn....I could see what works and what doesn't. It makes you think a bit more deeply about your own ideas.

Great blog. I agree wholeheartedly. Follow the plan. Do the assignments, as much as they may be dreaded. Kyle and Carson know what they are doing and in the end the assignments make sense.
