Accidental Test Provides Startling Results

I moved one of my sites to my own sub domain I was only testing to see if it was possible had I ever needed it to. And lo and behold I found out I can sub-domain jump.

But any who I was researching long tail keywords to use as a domain name I found a name and put it on a sub domain and then I move one of my sites to that domain. well lets just say the site ranked so fast I got 21 subscribers in lest that 8 hours and I am not done with the site yet. My question is this is it the keyword rich domain that brought the traffic this is strange I well let you guys know more when I do some more research.
