Change, the only thing that is constant in life. Everyone is afraid of change. But the truth is 'change is very essential in life'. Though it could take us out of our comfort zone for a while, at the end it's meant to make us better and stronger.
Have you heard? WordPress has decided to change the Akismet plugin from free to paid. This can be upsetting and seems like a setback. But in fact, it's a stepping stone to better and greater things to come.
We are made stronger as a community by this change and will continue to wax stronger. Instead of Akismet, we now use WP Spamshield. Spamshield is free and tested to be strong. Another good news is that Spamshield will be installed for you when you create a new website. For those of us who have been using Akismet, you can Uninstall it and then install Spamshield.

If we are not growing we are dying - That I believe is what change is all about "Growing" I started using Antispam Bee when I read about it in a training then I saw Kyle's post. I have not started WP Spamshield yet as the Antispam Bee seems to be getting the job done for me for Free as well.
