No Road block but the one we set for ourselves
I don't know if you have ever felt short of your hard work and effort, thinking "you don't measure up". For some of us who are new into internet and affiliate stuff, that could be our state of mind especially when you research your niche and see numerous, extensive and wonderful works done by experts in that niche. That can be discouraging
But i've come to learn no niche or topic is exhaustive. You can always create something new from what already is. We are not to be discouraged by others' work, but inspired to be the best by it.
Work on your niche with the mind set to be the best authority on it. Don't be concerned about what is or what will be, for they are meant to catapult you to the top.
Really, nothing can hinder your journey to the top. The only road block is the one you set for yourself in you mind.

Niche research. Pick the keyword that suits my interest, find my niche. My perfect niche motivates me to write inspired content. My content drives traffic to my wildly popular blog. I tap into that unfulfilled need. My 1st blog ever becomes a conversion wonder in 6 months.
That is honestly the kind of pressure I put on myself. I have made niche selection such big deal in my mind that sometimes I cannot move forward. It seems like everyone else has it figured out.
I cannot move forward until I discover the next great thing.
