UPDATE-UPDATE - 12/05/2018On 11/29/2018 I clicked on the button to cancel my membership as I explained that I was going to do. When I did that, Kyle sent me a PM outlining all the things I had accomplished as a member here at WA. I must admit, reading what he wrote gave me reason to pause a moment.I actually never really wanted to leave, but felt that it would be best for me to concentrate on getting my health back in order before things got any worse. However, I just could not bring myself t

Have you ever gone to someone’s bio only to find blank space, just a few words, or even something that you couldn’t figure out what they were saying? I sure have. The one I dislike the most is when all I’m seeing is the white space of the page! Many people may not feel comfortable having to write about themselves, but it isn’t that difficult to do. So, I would like to contribute a little bit to show you how to create a website profile. Why is a Website Profile Neede

Recently, I had an opportunity to see many members of my family at our bi-annual Family Reunion. This year it was held in Durham, North Carolina and hosted by my brother and sister-in-law. As usual, it was a delightful time. Today, I hope to share some of my memories of my family reunion and also to share some family reunion planning sites that may be of interest you. It hasn’t been held in Maryland for some time now, as one of my sisters-in-laws so politely reminded me. That was my

We all have dreams of success, but many times we push our dreams away because we are afraid of possible failure. Every time we think about going for that gold ring, fear grabs hold, and we find another excuse to put our dreams aside once more. We must learn how to deal with a fear of failure in business. All of us entrepreneurs had that gripping fear of failing that grabs hold of us, especially when we first started out in business. It is this fear of failing that can prevent us from the s

When people talk about the “comfort zone” they talk as if it is something alien. It’s a place where most of us go to in order to avoid something they are not used to doing or going and may be afraid of changing. It's a place we can go to avoid change. Some wonder what’s so bad about staying in your comfort zone. Others ask, ‘why is it good to step out your comfort zone.’ Within this article, I hope to provide you with some clear reason why you should break

An Online Financial Success Story? There are not too many days that go by when I don’t log into Wealthy Affiliate to work. I have been doing so for the last three years. I do not have an online financial success story that I had hoped for by now, but that hasn’t stopped me from looking forward to doing my work each day. Something happened! Did I click my heel three times? I use the word “work,” but I don’t consider it work at all. I enjoy working on my web

The tradition of honoring our fathers will soon arrive. I thought it would be appropriate to give tribute by sending out a happy Fathers Day message. I hope you will enjoy it.Have you ever given thought to how Fathers Day (or Mothers Day for that matter) ever came about? Until now, I sure haven’t. In honor of Fathers Day, I want to bring some attention to how Fathers Day came to be. Here’s a bit of Fathers Day history. A church in West Virginia held the first event that honore

Attempting to leave your comfort zone behind can be quite a daunting task. We get so set in our old ways and habits that it makes us afraid to change. Why bother trying to fix something that’s not broke? Work and home life can be a stressful enough place already, so we often do what we can to lessen any further risk of stress that changing up a routine might bring. My hope is to possibly give you a nudge by showing you how to leave your comfort zone behind. But you may be losing out on

Help Me! I'm in a terrible situation. That’s what I was thinking a few years back when I had three grown children who refused to leave my home and take their little ones with them! I was at my wits end trying desperately to figure out how to get adult children to move out of my house. The ‘kids’ were all adults in their late 20's, early 30’s and mid 40’s! I taught them the necessary skills they needed to survive on their own. However, they just do not want to
