These are all great ideas and you have a ton of interests which you can create a blog around. The way I would look at it is what niche would you be excited about the most to talk about.

Imagine you are with a group of people/friends and what you would be most excited to tell them about?
For example:
- Cell phones, back packs - things like this you can briefly discuss but there is not much twist to it. Of course there are blogs on those, but it might be hard to make it really captivating unless you are in the industry or know something cool about them and can bring something unique to the table.
- Dogs niche can be very interesting one because I also have 2 dogs and I can talk for hours and I can pick on so many ideas within this niche: caring for dogs, dog medicines, dog food and list goes on.
-Nail polish is also a huge niche, but I would research online to see if you can find any blogs on nail polish and see what people really do and if you have enough content ideas.

So basically, not to overthink too much but excitement about the Interest - what should lead you forward. This way you will keep your motivation up through the blogging process and your readers will enjoy your content and will follow your suggestions to buy recommended products.

It's all good! ... and pretty much any niche can be a successful one, it's in the how of your making it come to full fruition . . .

Ideas & inspiration abound . . . for your first niche, it is best to select one that you have either plenty of experience/knowledge in OR one that you are truly interested in enough to want to research ... either way, you will need to keep building out posts in-depth on the topic over an extensive period of time to gain traction with an engaged audience and for search engines ...

that about sums it up for now --- encourage you to carry onward with the amazing WA training with Kyle in building out quality content on your website ...

what you need to do is to create two columns and list down all of these interests on the left column and in the right column write down what major areas you could write about - you need 15-20 areas to go onto creating 50 -100 articles...yep you will need to do that many, it sounds scary but it is achievable.
and think narrow niche - so teh dogs one - you would probably talking about te types of dog you have - how to care for them, feeding ot prevent weight issues, exercise, cleanups, etc
the nail art - is there a type of art you are interested in - as you say that would probably be more how to's and pinterest or instagram
but create your list and the things you can think about to write about, and do a litle research - see which interests you the most and for your first site go with that.
you may change your niche part way through the course - thats ok, most do i think.
so as you say - overthinking is not a good thing- learning is good and action is good.
