The Experience: After Three weeks - Learning the Ropes of Social Media

Almost done with course 4 - well my favourite part of the course: SOCIAL MEDIA. Being on Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest has made things fun - well, not as fun as i thought. Facebook like 9gag - if you know what I mean. So am still contemplating whether to use Facebook. Facebook going to be a challenge with regards to not wasting time on social media.

I created a new account on twitter for my niche, @LacIntolerSol (A follow would be nice) and created pins on Pinterest. Am still learning the ropes of social media and how it would make me successful.

Well Google +, well I post daily just to get better rankings on google. I do not know if Google + really helps my nice.

I would like to hear your comments of how Social Media contributed to your success? How could I use Social Media more effectively? Am I missing out, if I do not use Facebook?

Hi, The community at WA is amazing. Learning a lot from my peers and you will also be benefiting from many people on this platform.

awesome!
Followed and liked your three new posts.

Social Media has served me very well. I continually get daily traffic from my social media platforms. Now, I do have about 25,000 followers on my Twitter accounts. But, it IS doable! Stay with it!

Okay, thanks hey. How did you get so many followers and how long did it take? Whats the trick in getting followers especially on twitter?

WEll done and good progress - yes it is best to post to Google+, twitter, facebook and linked in as they are the major players

How does LinkedIn help, I always though of it being a platform for jobs and professionals?

Well they are people and you want people???

Sounds like you are making great strides! I am only 1 month into WA and my new site so I don't have a lot to report on the success of social media. I have focused on more on Google+, Twitter, and Pinterest. I am with you on Facebook. I am not sure I want to focus so much time on it. Perhaps in the future. So for now I am focusing on just those 3 and will add Facebook later. There just aren't enough hours in the day for all of it! So I am choosing to write quality content rather than play on social media for the time being.

Best wishes to you!
