I wish to share my thoughts on success, leaning heavily on what I am getting from reading Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People.

This book is so powerful for the acts of winning friend. At the introductory note Dale explain how the book was written. It was not written like normal books but came as a result of experiment. Most of want is in the book is through painstaking experiment.

Accordingly, the book stated that dealing with people is probably the biggest problem one can face especially if you are in business.

This conclusion is drawn from the conclusion of research that says 15% of ones financial success is due to ones technical knowledge and the rest, 85% of your financial success will be due to skills in human engineering- to personality and the ability to lead people.

This research was carried out under the auspices of Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

This has gripping effects on me as I ponder on it again and again.

It simply shows that our professionalism, personal skills, and all of that put together, if I am to solely depend on them, will only be achieve my life potentialities of financial success of just 15%.

Reversely if I have the skills to deal with people, skills to lead, then my potentials to wealth will be 85% achievable.

Can you imagine the implication as to why success have been very illusive to so many people? They are focusing on their individual skills and efforts.

That's exactly what our schools system encourages, they build in us individuals instead of leaders. Professions like the army that builds heir teaching around leadership has recorded successes in their group efforts.

I then Remember what Kiyosaki said in his Book The Business School. He talks about how we get our income in this life.

He slots all our income into four quadrants, From the left hand side you have the Employee and Self Employed. This side of the quadrant is the full domain of those that value their skills and rarely leverage group efforts.-Doctor, Lawyers. Architect, Nurses, etc.

On the right side of the quadrant you have the Business owner and the Investor. Those in this group choose to act such that in addition to their skills, their profession they make use of group efforts.

They develop the skills of leadership. As such they create systems or utilizes systems.

Individual success stories are flaunt with a lot of limitations to befit success. I am resolved that In as much as I will not despised personal skills and self development, They are just my starting points, the greater picture is to relate with others and achieve success beyond 15%.

Belonging here is to achieve all of these. I am learning personal private skills but at the same time I am taught how I can leverage the skills for 85% financial success.

This WA is a different school indeed.
