When i felt like giving up
When I was young around about 4 or 5 years old , I started going to elementrary school , Mark Twain Acadedmy , on the sourthwest side of Detroit . Throughout my entire elementrary school years people talked about me , how black and ugly I was and why we don't look the same . My Grandmother use to always tell me , and I quote (girl just tell them black is beautiful) and I said to myself "I thought that too" , now I'm feeling really empty inside , not only I was talked about . I didn't have any friends to talked to either . what a sad little lost girl I was back then . Growing up without any friends to share my thoughts with , was pure torture if you ask me but now that I am grown I have family , I have a community , I have DREAMS ! And my dreams are coming to reality . It is a true honor to be here today thank you Wealthy Affiliates for allowing me share my story .

Hi your biography saddened me because of the lack of conscience in our society. I am pleased to see that you have overcome. Those are things we all need to do your comments about patience gave me a chuckle because I have had to learn a lot of patients in the last 2 years or so. I am glad always to hear your story. And we are happy that you share it with us. It is in sharing that we realize we are not alone. Happiness or sadness, victory or defeat, in health or in sickness, all of us experience those physical or emotional status. Knowing that. we feel relieve because we realize that we are not alone.
Lots of things we should be thankful of. Our mother, father, brothers and sisters. Our friends, our schools, hospitals. Our country, our God!

I was once in the same boat but with me it wasn't my colour but they mobbed me for being a member of a psycho family (wich I really was but was too young to understand it then). I couldn't talk to anybody, I had no family, no friends, nobody. But something inside of me told me to not give up and find love. It took me a long time to find love but my boyfriend came along and saved me from my horrible family.
Really sad past but just always think about how far you have come! You have achieved so much in your life and will achieve a lot more if you keep on going. It looks like you are a fantastic mother (from your profile photo) and will most probably have friends helping you out! Look to the future and I can see yours being very bright!
