Quitting My Day Job for Local Marketing - Thanks WA!
Well I'm back after a two month hiatus from WA. This wasn't because I didn't want to be here however. It was because my wife and I were building a financial plan and wanted to be sure we had everything planned out the best we could in preparation for a huge life changing event.
This summer I am quitting my IT Manager job, moving closer to home, and officially expanding on my local IM business full time. I can't even come close to expressing how happy I am to be making this change.
My last two blog posts were in reference to making my first 1k month and starting my local marketing business. Since then I have been building my local marketing model and all my processes. I now have cloud based SharePoint/Office 365/Project Management systems in place (my get organized task) and things are starting to flow.
Come this summer it will be all about local marketing and helping businesses grow!

This is great to hear Jesse! I hope you are doing good with your local marketing business. I am not ready to resign from my job yet but I managed to negotiate for half day work at different department. Got to work really hard as my salary will be significantly reduced after this, but I believed in myself that I can do this!
