Local Marketing - New Adventure
I'm going to try and keep some blog posts going regarding my attempt to expand towards local marketing. So without further ado, here is my first blog post:
I met with my first client this weekend and we've come to a verbal agreement to start work as soon as my business model is up and running. This just happens to be a place I frequent pretty often, so I know her word is good. So what are my next steps?
- Watch all the training videos regarding local - Completed!
- Buy a business domain name - Completed!
- Build my business model on a functional level. Using some tools in Jays Wabinars plus a few I've learned on my own, I'm working on how I want this to look. - Completed!
- Build my website. I think I have direction I want to go in mind. - Completed!
- Get I business license. - Completed!
- Get organized (on an anal level). - Getting Close!

I too am doing local marketing... creating custom mobile apps for for businesses, mobile ads, building moblie sites, converting their existing sites to be mobile friendly... then optimizing for local search and marketing services as add-ons. Have spent 18 months pulling it all together... adding new skills and knowledge to my existing arsenal of experience and knowledge... will be launching in the coming weeks. It's been an adventure! Will be outsourcing some aspects until I have the cash-flowto do otherwise.
