First Day on the Job

Today is my "first day on the job" with WA. And my first assignment on the job is to "Write a Blog Post".

I have never previously liked the sound and feel or thought of a "blog". It always seemed so time consuming and a drag to get to, almost like trying to get out of bed on a weekend when you just want to lie in.

As a child I would eagerly start a new diary every year - very much like a new year's resolution - then the entries would become less by the week and by the end of January already I would have stopped all entries completely. Blogging gave me the same feeling as a diary entry, except, these blogs are seen or followed by others, so if you do not blog, it is known to all, not just yourself! :-D

As we travel across border lines (hubbies job) and meet likewise traveling/working people, I have met a few ladies that are very active with their blog posts in order to keep the grandparents, family and friends back home updated with their life on the growth, achievements and experiences of especially the children.

These were all great, but it all seemed too long a process to go sit and write, also as I love photography I would have to ensure the pictures posted are "picture perfect" and that would take even longer! I am in daily contact with friends and family back home or elsewhere.....sending selfie picks with kids and by the kids on whatsApp! I get immediate response, and that felt good enough for me.

Joining this new "Adventure" I am for the first time excited to want to be blogging!
