So ... It's very simple.
If you haven't disabled the auto-insertion feature, the plugin will now automatically start adding a table of contents to all your posts/pages based on settings you chose earlier.
But of course, you can also manage the settings on a post by post basis.
Open the targeted post in your post editor and you'll notice a new "Table of Contents" panel under the editor itself:
This is the section where you can add/manage the table of contents for the given post.
You can disable the auto-insert feature on this post specifically, you can define which heading level to use for the table items, etc.
The point: if you change any setting in this box, then it will override the global settings for this specific post/page.
And that's it!
The table of contents will appear just above the first heading in your post and your readers can click on those links and jump to the section they want to read.
