Surviving in blogging horizon, it's all about connections. All those links and good word thrown in by happy and loyal readers and visitors do wonders for promoting your blog and spiking its traffic.

Those e-mail listings – e-mail addresses and names of people who just might be interested in becoming regular recipients of information and news from you.

Since we here in this fantastic platforms, why not giving our blog a fighting chance?

How to promote your blog using e-mail listings, lets take a look at this 4 points of view and guide:

  • Why "TARGET" and what "TARGET"?

Start right when you are starting to promote your blog.

Determine your 'market' – carefully - what type of readers under your focus points and the focal points of visitors you are targetting while bringing them in gradually.

This can work greatly but vary in result. It is also much to depend on the main theme / niche/ perspective of your blog.

Are they the participant in any polls, discussion boards and forums on your platform or the least to leave their comment?

Would the people in your e-mail listings are willing to promote your blog or mention it on their own blogs and beyond? The good thing arise from targeted e-mail listing, the answer to these questions is a resounding yes.

Never failed to always reviewing your main subject and the sub-topics that a touch of regularlity in writing are your bread and butter.

Who would want to read your blog On a regular basis, who are they that would always reading your blogging ideas? Topics wise, what they wanted to find in your blog? My regular concern is once they find their way to your site, would they stick around and look at your other entries? This is one of the reason why I giving my working focus on the other areas first and leave it late and last for engagement or commnent and feedback points of view.

I knew that it is doesn't always worked like that or did not working at all by leave it late in site comment etc.

Actually the market for your blog is already out there.Now up to you to let them know who and what you are and where they can find you. The focus on promoting your blog to highly targeted e-mail listings, you can at least avoid marketing to your segment of blog visitors that:

A) Are totally uninterested in what your blog has to offer,

B) Are only partly interested and cannot be relied upon to stay in the long run and term

C) Their interests undeniably vague and willingness to participate or sign up for your promotions are doubtful.

  • Stay relevance at any given time

Avoid wasting time. space, and energy by ensuring that when you promote your blog using e-mail listings, it will be relevant enough for the recipients to respond positively to.

Our inability to use relevance stuff in invitations, is like throwing host of invitations to football match in the rock consert.

You may hit certain right notes there but to a meager results that prove a fatal in compensation for your full overall effort

  • Allow freedom to opt out from the e-mail listings

But the risk to swallow is there for the takings! Are you risking the fact that higher percentage of unsubscribers looming large with the mentione offering? DEFINITELY!

One thing about this opt-outoption is not only polite, but your professionalism will be understood furthert.

What considered to be rude and bad impression in the eyes of the readers that may also accused us as desperate when we withhold option of unsubscribe.

The risk of being ridiculed in the industry, could risk us losing everything.

  • Our motive must be clear at all times

Make sure you state in clear terms what the blog is about, what subject(s) will be offered and how they can respond. I take this seriously important matters.

Don't hide behind vague terms and avoid being mysterious. Remember that your e-mail list has plenty of other options out there, blogs that are willing to state their offerings in clear, understandable language.
