So here is an interesting thing to look at and some questions I have been asked often:

WHY do I get so involved with the WA community?

Why do I want to help the WA members?

Is my WA rank important?

What is my WA rank all about?

So firstly before I go into all of this let me just cover my ass and say that the reason I help people out and why I am active is because I really truly love it.

I love connecting with other people, I love sharing what I have learned and learning from other people. This is something that gives me joy and a sense of having done something worthwhile.

So yes it makes me feel good. Same like going and giving my kids old toys away at the orphanage, it is a nice thing to do for others.

So now let's move and explain what it also does for me, the more selfish parts.

Hi Lynne, thanks for this training. I remember a while ago that some people despised other members who try to boost their presence by reaching up good WA ranking.

I think there is nothing really wrong with it as long as the ranking chaser is genuine to help other members too. What goes around comes around :)

Yes I can see how that would cause upset, but going for a good ranking on WA must really be done with the right mindset otherwise it will be pointless.

We should each strive to bring our own unique knowledge and personality into WA...that said not everyone will like everyone else. So yeah different strokes for different folks....
