Twitter is a social network and micro-blogging platform that allows you to send 140-character “tweets”.
With these tweets, you can let your friends know what you're up to, share links and cool resources, communicate with your customers, drive traffic to your website, and much more.

According to the Twitter website, Twitter allows you to answer the question, “What are you doing?”

Twitter allows you to communicate without the hassle of writing out long blog posts or emails. The format of the Tweet allows you to get away with a link and a few words that can be sent on the go from your cell phone.

And this tweet can potentially reach thousands of customers or business prospects, driving them to your website or blog, and drawing attention to your products.

In turn, you will receive notices whenever someone you are following Tweets something. You can receive instant notification in your browser, mobile phone, email, and even on IM clients like AIM or MSN Messenger. Basically, it's more or less impossible NOT to keep touch with your Twitter friends & followers, even if you're out and on the go.

Twitter's extremely simple interface and ease of use is probably one of the reasons why it has caught on like crazy.

Twitter was launched in 2006 by Jack Dorsey, and in 2008/2009 it practically exploded in popularity.

I've always questioned who is following their tweets all day. People at work follow some pertaining to their job. Others look for a food truck location, celebrity news and gossip. You need to establish a targeted traffic following and retweet the same message a few times a day to get it to people. Unfollow those who don't follow you. It's a great tool if you can build a list of dedicated followers. You can get a lot of data about twitter to make your efforts more productive. Nothing worse then sending out messages that never get read. There are tracking programs that can show you actual results. Great way to track activity on any of your blog post you tweet. Answers the question"is anyone listening to me/"

That's the problem really, but with interesting titles to say a blog post you can benefit. Or even send them to an article on Street Articles for example. If only 5 people go off and read, 1 purchases, it's worth the effort.

Just like having your own Niche Or Theme on your website.
The very Firms under which your various articles and blog postings are based on.

Twitter is something as simple as that.
Just open your mind and create your own line of Interest . That would be the theme of your Twitter account. Continue posting tweets on that line of interest. But also on other Various topics.

Tweeting for atleast each day and within 1-2 Months You would be having an Impressive Followers List.........

Just try to keep your tweets interesting Not always Serious Stuff.....

Hope You find this Useful..
