Images are very important for our posts and pages. It’s true that nothing will replace good content, but images could surely add engagement. Every time we use an image, we must be careful it’s a free image. As a general recommendation you must verify that the images you use on your sites are Creative Common Zero (CC0). This means that they are free images without any restrictions or attributions needed anywhere in the world. There is abundant training on this respect here at Wealthy Affiliate.
There are quite a few sites that offer CC0 images. And there also are sites where you can purchase images. But we have good news for you: Here at Wealthy Affiliate you can have access to free images that come from 3 platforms all in one unique spot, called SiteContent.
This is a new feature of SiteContent and it groups Pexels, Unsplash and Pixabay in one place. This will save you time when you are looking for images. And it will give you peace of mind knowing that the images you use are free. In this training we are going to take a look at:
1. How to upload SiteContent images to your posts and pages on your website, using SiteContent.
2. How to upload SiteContent images to pages and posts that are on your site through the back office of WordPress.
3 How to upload SiteContent images to posts here at Wealthy Affiliate.
Just trying to get my head around this - what exactly does the "Open in a New Window" do? I assume that the picture will be displayed in the post (regardless of whether this is ticked or not), but that when the picture is clicked, it will open in a new window. Is that what happens? Or am I totally off track?
