My favorite pet peeve is the ABC spell checker. How can we tell you aren’t using it? Easy, just try it once and see how bad your spelling and grammar is!
There really is no excuse for having poor grammar or spelling on your posts or website. Don’t know how to use it? Really simple – when you have written your blog or post in the Site Content, just click on the ABC box at the top, right hand corner of your content.
Then follow the suggestions it gives you. If it tells you a word is misspelled, it is nearly 100% misspelled. There are exceptions, but few.
If it says you need to correct your grammar, you most certainly need to do it. This is one of the most valuable tools in your WAtoolbox, but you must use it. If you plan to succeed here at WA and with your website/s, you must write quality content.
The only way to write quality content is to use the ABC spell checker. Trust me, after years of writing, I still make some whopping bloopers in writing and the spell checker has saved my bacon on several (many actually) occasions.
You are just not good enough to write a blog or post without errors or mistakes. Don’t try to prove me wrong, as that would also be a mistake. Then when it corrects you or suggests corrections, don’t be upset with the spell checker! Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. Use the spell checker!
Routine and resistance mean they are not eager to leave their old WordPress editors. That was my case until recently. The first time I didn't like SiteContent. But from the second time, I have since written 86 articles with it.
Nothing will let me turn my back on this wonderful platform.
