The key component of a website is the platform. It is therefore a good decision to choose the right e-commerce platform. This stage may be time and energy consuming, but this is a crucial decision to make, as nothing else can replace it.

One way to choose the right platform is checking out for platforms of the most prominent e-commerce websites that look similar to the one you intend setting up. Spend your time and resources in choosing the right platform for your websites, as you may find it difficult to later move to another, which will cost you time and funds.

Lots of good information as I have been looking into eCom for awhile.

I also know, think would be a better word, if your in the states....setting up a sole proprietorship is a must. I'm in CA and have been looking into it. Doesn't seem that difficult and then you can also apply for an EIN (so you don't have to use your social security number). Again, that's just what I've been thinking about doing.
