•Image optimization in Wordpress.

•There are lots of different plugins you can choose from for your website that are for image optimization.

•Imagify is a decent plugin that does a great job with the optimization of images specifically.
•Wordpress optimize in my opinion is an even better way to go that allows more protection for your website Against hackers . This plugin will also help you optimize you're entire site and help your site to run more efficiently.

•What is image optimization and why is it important ? The answer to that is very simple what image optimization does is reduces the file size within the image allowing your webpages to load more quickly and efficiently without changing or altering the quality of the image . That alone will improve your site health and rankings and make for better user experience.

•be sure to to install one of these 2 plugins for your website I highly recommend Wordpress optimize because it has more features and works to make your entire site more efficient.

Thank you Jonathon,

Great training & information.

I use a lot of images on my travel & photography site, & I am still working on my site for layout & style.

All the images I use are ones taken by myself, & I have a few thousand to choose from.
I do need to protect them from being copied & used by others.

I totally agree, images assist to tell the story.

As the saying goes
" A picture is worth a thousand words"

Thank you for this training. How do we know if our images are optimized on our webpage? Can we use plugin to optimize images that are already on our page?

Hi, if you have Kraken image optimizer installed on your WordPress which is default on every new installation, that does the job.

thank you :) So I just activate Kraken & that will do the job? There is no need for additional fine tunning?

Activate kraken and select all of the images you want to optimize it works well
