When I joined Wealthy Affiliate I was not a member of any social networks, just was not interested. In fact they kind of put me off as I'd seen the cultish glazed eyed look of folks converted to them...posting every 5 minutes, sharing every detail of their day and almost pictures of every meal. Social networking turned into socially rejecting real life...

However what I have learnt is that used properly and effectively social networks can be an online businesses best friend.

In this tutorial we are going to ignore the big networks...facebook, twitter etc...although the message is equally as important for them. This tutorial is to introduce you to social networks that you may not have heard of but, in my opinion, are more valuable than the big ones.

Why? They are specific, cater to specific niche groups, interests and therefore offer a more targeted marketing solution.
