Bing Webmaster Tools is a platform provided to help you understand how Bing & Yahoo interpret your website. The insights they provide you range from search/traffic data, ranking data, crawl and structure errors/analysis, ability to submit URL's, and also offering the ability to submit your sitemap so you can speed up your indexing.

Indexing is typically much slower with Bing & Yahoo, so in particular in the early stages of your website it is important that you get Bing Webmaster Tools set-up. It will lead to much quicker indexing and subsequently rankings and traffic.

Hi Kyle, I'm stucked in the editor sub menu under the "appearance menu", I'm not able to proceed to the next step as according to your tutorial. Can i just add the meta tag for the bing webmaster tool into my bing webmaster section box under All in One SEO>general settings>webmaster verification>bing webmaster center to complete the bing site ownership verification process? Any ways to proceed with it?

I would just contact support.
A few of us had issues with setting up Bing and had to get their help in order to resolve the issue : )

Hi LeeAnn, I think I've found the solution, i think we could just add "meta tag code" generated by bing webmaster tool and add it into all in one>general settings>webmaster verification>bing webmaster center, not sure if this works cos I have just managed to verify my website by using this way.

After a few failure attempts of loading my WordPress editor under the "appearance submenu". I've also submitted my sitemap, hopefully everything will work fine for me :)

I couldn't get past the first hurdle of adding my website? I even tried to leave out the https:// but it kept adding it back in?
Any help appreciated?

I would contact support. I had to contact them because of my Bing SiteMap. They had to issue me a new one

We encountered an issue when we tried to download this sitemap. Please check the sitemap for errors and resubmit the sitemap.

when you set up your bing account did you set it up as not https or using with www. ? Sometimes if it doesn't match the actual site url it may not work - make sure it is set up as https and without www would be what I would try next
